When I was in the second year at University, I was to face a problem. I had to print some big maps and I had to move very fast. At that point, in our town there was no such thing as a plotter with internet connection where you could send the maps. You also know that instant messaging does not allow you to transfer big files and our maps were as big as a few hundred MB, sometimes even 1 or 2 GB. Moreover, as that was not enough we came after some days and nights of hard work so we were completely exhausted. Till one day when one of the classmates came with a brilliant new idea. The compact flash card. The fist types I saw could store 1-2 GB and they were no more than 10-15 dollars. The next days we knew what we have to do, each of us buy a compact flash card and from that point, we worked until early morning, than put all the work on the compact flash card and ran to the plot shop.
